As part of our effort to build a strong and professional Chamber, the Rodrigues Chamber of Commerce and Industry invites new members to consider contributing more than the standard entrance fee. This additional contribution takes the form of a voluntary sponsorship and gives members the opportunity to acquire a special membership status within the RCCI.
To make this possibility more tangible and transparent, we have prepared a sponsorship wish list: a selection of practical items and budget lines the Chamber urgently needs to operate at a higher standard. The list allows each sponsor to choose exactly what their contribution will support—be it a specific piece of equipment or a broader development budget.
There are two types of sponsorships available. Some items are listed as units—such as a printer, a laptop, or an air conditioning unit. These are matched to a single sponsor. Others are listed as budgets—for instance, the creation of a part-time secretarial post or the development additions to our webste. These can be co-sponsored by several members. Whichever path is chosen, the goal is the same: to help the Chamber grow stronger, more independent, and more responsive to the needs of its members.
In return, sponsors will benefit from a number of recognitions: their names (unless they prefer anonymity) will be mentioned in the RCCI’s Annual Report, acknowledged at official RCCI events, and listed in the future sponsors’ section of our website. Most importantly, they will be recognised as Founding Sponsors—early supporters of a new chapter in the economic life of Rodrigues.
